The mission at St Michael’s is to:

OUR SCHOOL CHARISM

Founded by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1941, our community embraces the Josephite tradition of love, understanding and acceptance of others. The school is characterised by a positive, nurturing learning environment that strives for excellence in all facets of education and fosters the confidence, self-worth and integrity of each child to become their own leader.

Our school motto, 'Lift Up Your Hearts', together with our school’s mission statement, ‘Inspiring excellence in leading, learning and living the faith’, is central to all we do.

The charism of Mary MacKillop pervades the ethos of St Michael’s, encouraging the building of a sustainable, successful, Christ-centred community with common values empowering all to be witnesses to the faith and promote a deep love of God.
